Frequently Asked Questions
The swivel male elbow combines the space-saving benefits of a 90-degree turn with the flexibility of rotational movement. This allows hoses to be positioned optimally without creating tension or stress on the connections, extending hose life and preventing leaks.
This 116654 fitting is commonly used at pump outlets, manifold connections, and anywhere hoses need to make tight turns while maintaining flexibility. It's ideal for applications where hose positioning may need adjustment during setup or operation.
For male thread fittings, use thread sealant tape or liquid sealant compatible with your spray materials. Apply sealant to the male threads only, being careful not to contaminate the swivel mechanism or allow sealant into the fluid path.
The swivel elbow is designed for maintenance-free operation under normal conditions. Avoid overtightening, keep the swivel area clean of debris and hardened material, and inspect regularly for smooth rotation during routine maintenance checks.
