Frequently Asked Questions

It is supplied as the individual V-block seal. Some assemblies use multiple V-rings and spacers to achieve the correct preload. Follow your machine’s service drawing when rebuilding the stack and replace any worn elements together.

Loss of pressure, fluid bypass, visible wear or nicks on the sealing lip, chemical swelling, or hardening are all signs the Vee Block Seal should be replaced. Inspect mating surfaces and replace any damaged spacers or glands at the same time.

Depressurize equipment, clean the gland, lightly lubricate compatible elastomers, and orient the V-lip correctly per the diagram. Torque fasteners to spec and perform a pressure/leak check after reassembly.
