The Graco 2009265 GCI Injector Kit Mining Truck is an injector kit sold under Graco part number 2009265. A kit bundles several parts under one part number; contents differ from kit to kit, so check the Graco parts list for this number. This one is listed with injector in its name: an injector is a metering device in a lubrication system that delivers a measured amount of lubricant to a lube point on each cycle. Graco automatic lubrication equipment supplies grease or oil to metering devices, such as injectors or divider valves, that deliver a measured amount to each lube point.

About the Graco automatic lubrication equipment

Single-line parallel: a pump sends lubricant down one line to injectors, each injector meters a set amount per cycle and shows it cycled with a pin; line pressure is vented between cycles. Series progressive: a pump feeds a divider valve whose pistons move in sequence, so each outlet gets a measured amount; if flow stops the pistons stop and resume from the same point. Graco lists uses such as: in-plant machinery lubrication (LubePro, Lube Master, Manzel). Graco GL-series injectors are metering devices for single-line parallel automatic lubrication systems. In a series progressive system a divider valve passes lubricant to each outlet in sequence; if flow stops, the pistons stop and resume from the same point.

What the Terms in the Part Name Mean

• Injector: Metering device delivering a set grease amount to one point.
• GCI: Graco GCI Series grease injector system: manifolds with injector cartridges and color-coded output spacers for grease (up to NLGI #2).
