Single-line parallel: a pump sends lubricant down one line to injectors, each injector meters a set amount per cycle and shows it cycled with a pin; line pressure is vented between cycles. Series progressive: a pump feeds a divider valve whose pistons move in sequence, so each outlet gets a measured amount; if flow stops the pistons stop and resume from the same point.
