Frequently Asked Questions
The “525” indicates the tip size: the first digit “5” corresponds to a ~10-inch fan width, and “25” refers to the orifice opening of 0.025 inches. Larger numbers generally mean a higher material flow rate.
This tip is compatible with Graco sprayers that accept the RAC 5 HandTite Tip Guard. Always check your sprayer manual to confirm tip compatibility before use.
This tip works well with a range of coatings, including flat and satin latex paints, stains, sealers, and many oil-based coatings. Always follow coating manufacturer guidance and sprayer recommendations.
Spray tips wear over time. If the spray pattern becomes uneven or narrow at normal pressure, it’s time to replace the tip to maintain finish quality.
