Installation & Usage Tips

  1. Relieve pressure and switch to PRIME.
  2. Remove the Easy-Out cap beneath the pump block.
  3. Pull the old Q Strainer, insert a fresh 60-mesh element.
  4. Inspect/lube the O-ring, reinstall cap hand-tight, prime briefly, then SPRAY.

Frequently Asked Questions

Three (3) OEM 60-mesh Q-style manifold screen elements. For bulk packs, see 238432 (25-pack).

Check your parts manual for a #7 Easy-Out manifold and Q-style screen listing. If your unit uses a different manifold size or gun filter, 238431 will not fit.

Most interior/exterior acrylics and latex. Use 30-mesh for heavy block fillers; 100-mesh for thinner enamels to minimize tip clogs.

Manifold strainer (Q-style) for the pump block—not a gun handle filter. It installs behind the Easy-Out cap below the pump.

Pre-strain paint from the pail, flush at day’s end, and inspect edges for damage before reuse. Replace at the first sign of deformation or persistent clogs.
