Frequently Asked Questions

No-289243 is a conventional (non-HVLP) gravity-feed model. Graco does offer Finex guns in HVLP variants if your process requires HVLP compliance.

The gun uses a 1/4" NPSM air inlet and a 3/8" NPSM fluid inlet (female). Ensure your hoses/adaptors match these thread types for a proper, leak-free connection.

The 1.3 mm needle/nozzle works well for many topcoats, clears, lacquers, urethanes, waterborne finishes and medium-viscosity coatings. For very thick/high-build materials, consider a larger orifice size.
