Is the Magnum X7 Enough for Your Chesterfield Job?
It is built for property owners, not for crews running every day. Occasional projects around a property suit it well. Run it as a daily production machine and it will not last — that is a job for the contractor range.
Good For
Whole-house interiors and exterior siding on your own property.
Not Built For
Crew use on back-to-back jobs — that wears it out fast.
Serviceable
Pump repair kits, gun and hose all stocked.

The ProX range and 390 PC when the X7 is not enough.

Graco Magnum X7 in Chesterfield — Common Questions
Straight answers for property owners and DIY painters in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Do you deliver the Magnum X7 to Chesterfield?
Yes — we ship to all 7 Chesterfield ZIP codes, including 63005, and across Missouri. Same-day dispatch applies to orders in before 1 PM CST.
What is the difference between the X5 and X7?
The X7 carries a higher annual use rating and takes a longer hose run. If you are painting one or two rooms a year, the X5 is plenty. Whole-property work is where the X7 earns the difference. They share a pump repair kit, so spares are common to both.
Can I use it for commercial work?
It will spray, but daily commercial use is outside what it is built for. Graco rates these on annual usage, and continuous work passes that quickly. If you are spraying for a living, the contractor range is the honest answer.
What can I spray through it?
Standard wall and trim coatings, thinned as the label requires. Heavy-bodied material like block fill or elastomerics is beyond it. Do not exceed the machine's maximum tip size or the fan will fail. See tips and guards.
Can I repair it rather than replace it?
Yes, and it is usually well worth doing. We also hold the gun, hose sets, drain valve and control board parts. Rebuilding is far cheaper than replacing.
How do I look after it between jobs?
The end-of-job clean decides how long it lasts. Dried paint in the pump ruins the packings and scores the cylinder. Do not leave water-based residue in it over winter.
